In addition, students will engage with IT professionals from the sponsoring companies.\u00a0 No previous programming experience required.<\/p>\n<p>According to Courtney Deoreo RITE Board Administrator, \u201cRITE offers programs to help attract, prepare and place IT talent in the region.\u00a0 The Summit is our once a year opportunity to bring the whole system of stakeholders together where we also feature our signature program for high school students called the Passport to IT Careers.\u00a0 This year we have also added an afternoon program targeted to employers featuring speakers and information on a range of topics including internship resources, innovations in education, local success stories and regional workforce initiatives.\u201d \u00a0 She continued, \u201cAnother great program in our portfolio for high school students is our coding camps which is a unique partnership with TECH CORPS, 7 colleges and universities and 7 industry sponsors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the following Higher Education Partners that will be hosting this year\u2019s camps:\u00a0 Baldwin Wallace University, Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, Lorain County Community College, and The University of Akron, and. In addition, it is thanks to our corporate sponsors, RITE and TECH CORPS that the camps will be free of charge to NEO high school students during the summer of 2016.\u00a0\u00a0Applications are open for this year&#8217;s Summer Coding Camps delivered by RITE and TECH CORPS in partnership with RITE Higher Education partners and our corporate sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>BlueBridge has been a supporter of the RITE Board since its inception in\u00a02009.
